Japan is mostly divided into 4 large islands such as Hokkaido (Northern Island), Honsyu (Mid Island), Shikoku,Kyusyu (Southern Island).
Other than those 4 large islands, it has many small islands. Okinawa is one of them and located in the south of Kyusyu.
